I purchased them from the estate of a very popular NY model of the 60's. She had a wonderful eye or jewelry and I was lucky to get some of her pieces. These earrings feature large oval shaped amethyst stones with a cut crystal detail that really makes them sparkle in the light. There are also 3 round clear crystals along the base that add a nice contrast and some additional sparkle. They are set on gold plated high quality brass and they feel really good in the hand.
