Description: Vintage Chinese 3-Drawer Jewelry Box with Fold-Away Beveled Mirror. Features fighting dragons on the top. Decorative Brass handles and corners. Brass handles feature some type of mythical bird creature. Front and Sides appear to be hand painted. Top is covered with a what I think is a leatherette fabric. Bottom has an original hand-written price tag (for Hong Kong and Macau). Likely made in one of those territories when they were under European (British and Portuguese) rule. My guess is that this is from the post-WWII era circa 1950-60s. Dimensions: Approximately 6.5" high when mirror is closed. About 10.5" deep and 8.25" wide. Condition: Vintage used, no cracks or breaks. There is wear, some discoloration, missing leatherette - see photos and use the enlarge feature. Leatherette is a bit tacky to the touch in places - this happens over the years to some synthetic materials. other than a dusting and then using a slightly damp cloth I have not attempted to clean it.
