Description: Vintage Chinese Brass Vase with Mythical Dragon Swirling Around It. This is a very unique, HEAVY vase (for it's size) with great detail. The top portion it depicts an embossed dragon wrapped around the neck of the vase, hinting for it's prey, perhaps. Along with a beautiful tree and deer on the bottom portion of the vase there's a n embossed crane, flowers and many small symbols decorated everywhere. I don't know what any of the symbols mean but they are very interesting. The vase is 9.5" tall, the bottom portion measures approximately 5.25" x 4.25" and the mouth of the vase is 4.25" x 3.75". As mention earlier it is very heavy weighing 3 lbs, 7.5 oz. There is a crack/repair on the mouth shown in the last 2 photos.
