Vintage China Head Doll 22” Highbrow Black Hair Hobby Reproduction 20th Century

Description: Vintage China Head Doll with Blue Eyes and Black Flattop Hair with Highbrow Civil War style hair. Hobby doll hobbyist reproduction, this doll would have been made from a kit sometime in the mid to late 20th century. Vintage preowned item. No chips or cracks. Please note that the fabric doll body and the back side of the dress has old brown foxxing stains throughout, attributed to age, humidity and storage. Nothing that detracts from function or beauty. The doll is clean otherwise and comes from a clean, dry, smoke free environment and has no odor. Measures approximately 22” head to toe. The head measures approximately 4” wide across the chest and approximately 4.5” from bottom of chest to top of head. Exact age and maker is not confirmed. There are no brand marks. Estimated approximately 1970s-1980s. It is marked with a very faint “8” on the back - below the head. There is a similar mark on the chest that is not readable. No other marks observed. SEE PICS Handpainted face has peachy pink blushing cheeks, a pink heart shaped mouth and single stroke eyebrows. Feet have black boots hand painted with red detail and flesh colored calves. Hands /forearms are painted white to make her look like she is wearing white gloves. Please examine photos and ask questions before you bid.
