Description: Vintage ceramic Seaman’s Bank for Savings Sailor Piggy Banks Circa 1940’s Bank is in great condition for its age showing only normal age and wear. This bank was made by Contemporary Ceramics in Chatham NJ. Not too far from where I live. This mid century piece measures about 5.5” tall by 3.5-4” wide. I don’t see any chips or cracks and the cork on the bottom is in really nice shape and maker marked. The only thing missing is the bottom stopper. However this does not distract from the piece at all. This item is priced to sell quick and no reasonable offer will be refused. Don’t miss out!!
