Description: This very unusual Old West / horse ranch-themed Saff Enterprise model SCFH-52 52-inch ceiling fan has a real tooled leather band surrounding the antique brass motor housing. The blade irons are shaped like horseshoes, too. It is fitted with an ornate Victorian-style light kit, which has welded brass shades with beveled glass panels. The fan is complete with downrod, cap and ball hanger. Motor is tested, runs at three speeds and has a reverse switch. It does produce a light sporadic mechanical hissing sound when running. Fan was not tested hung and assembled, blades may require balancing prior to regular use. Everything has been meticulously cleaned, but motor housing has not been dismantled, so there may be some dust inside. There are a couple of stains on the leather band, and the pull switch is also slipped down inside the housing (see last two photos for details). The switch is sturdy and works fine, but only when you pull at an up angle. It was probably knocked off-kilter when the light kit was originally installed, and you should be able to reseat it if you remove the light canopy.
