Description: Up for auction is this vintage cast bronze religious icon plaque. The plaque shows a detailed image of 'Tikhvine Madonna' surrounded by a detailed border. The icon appears to be a Russian Orthodox design. The face shows signs of a grey solder in areas and the backside has an allover grey solder surface. It measures approx. 3-3/4" x 4-1/4" x approx. 1/8" thick. This is one of a large collection that I purchased a few months ago. No makers mark or name on this icon but it was most likely manufactured by 'Greenbrier' of Rhode Island, USA. It comes in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
