DESCRIPTION OF ITEM This is a original vintage brochure/booklet as shown in the photos, and described in the title. i can ship as many as you purchase for one shipping cost. if this is a brochure i show the entire object (both sides), if a booklet i show a bit and put the amount of pages in the title. NOTE: THIS IS VERY CLEAN AND NICE but there is going to be a date stamp somewhere on this brochure (most likely a few dont have it), often on the front or back page and maybe where it was picked up at written on it as well. why, because this brochure came from the incredible collection of Kennett Neily, who is he you ask, he was the man in the story below who sold the famous "White Mountain Collection" of silver age comic books, and those books are known to have his date stamp, from when the item was purchased (on the second page), well he did that on just about everything he bought, or picked up, it is kinda neat. In 1984 a man approached Jerry Weist, owner of "The Million Year Picnic" comic shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a small sampling of comics from his collection. This intial meeting was the hobby's introduction to what is now referred to as the White Mountain Collection. Few collections of Silver Age books approach the consistently high level of condition and page quality that White Mountain copies possess. Weist would eventually become the organizer for Sotheby's comic book and comic art auctions. In that capacity, he introduced the collecting world to this fabulous discovery, offering choice samplings in Sotheby's 1991, 1993 and 1996 auctions. Many collectors are still not aware that the collection's large body of Silver Age publications also included a small sampling of choice, early Underground Comix. It should also be said that most collectors have yet to grasp the significance of that inclusion. For most Silver Age collectors, the UG's are the forgotten books of the period, and this is a serious omission on their part. Even more amazing is his unknown collection of science fiction books (see my other items) and some toys (see this and other items) and a lot of magazines and travel brochures.
