Description: Vintage British Merchant Navy Red Ensign "Red Duster" Cotton Flag 7' by 4 1/2'. Manufactured by Shipmate. Has "Engeland R. E." printed on the side, which is Dutch for England Red Ensign. Maybe used in Outside Territories on Dutch ships? At one point it had a small hole, but it was professionally repaired (see picture). Sections are sewn together. Flag is really large.
