VINTAGE BRITISH CROWN COLONY HONG KONG KENT ORIGINAL WOMENS IVORY FORMAL-SIZE 16

Description: Kent Originals Ltd. Women's Ivory Formal Dress, Size 16, Made in Hong Kong, British Crown Colony. This has a back zipper with hook and eye closure at top. The material content is not provided. I am not an expert on fabrics but it could possibly be silk or a type of brocade and with the lining, it has a heavier feel. It measures 17.5" from armpit to armpit, is 56" in length at measures 16" at the bow. This has a couple areas of fraying at the bottom of the dress (see last two photos) This is a beautiful, quality made dress but it apparently has inconsistent coloring. The dress itself is in pristine condition, no tears, rips or stains. I don't know if a cleaning or dye bath would make the color uniform, this will require some TLC by someone who is familiar with textiles. PLEASE NOTE: I do not use stock photos.
