Description: Vintage Bright Vibrant Hilasal BEACH TOWEL by Artist FERNANDO LLORT El Salvador Vintage artistic Hilasal beach towel designed by Fernando LLort, El Salvador's National Artist, who passed in 2018. Fernando Llort signature within the pattern as well as location "La Palma". The beautiful large (34" wide, 68" long) beach towel depicts scenes with colorful indigenous symbols and stylized Salvadoran people and their daily lives, Done in earth tones with a green border. Likely from the 1970's. Very good condition, with the exception of 2 bleach marks, one at lower right side as seen in 6th photo, and one at bottom seen in 7th photo.
