The uniqueness comes from the prongs/clasps that are used to hold a globe in place. It is quite tarnished, but it should Polish up nicely. I am not completely sure about the darker colored metal that is the main stem of this item. It has coppery look to it, but I am not sure it’s not more tarnished or if it even lost its Brass finish.
