Perfect as a trinket keeper for a dresser or night stand but it also has raised lines on the inside bottom that were used to lift the brush from the bottom to let hair drop down to keep dressers free of loose hair. There is loss of the gold painted trim - mostly on the lid. It's free of cracks and chips but has a couple of areas that were left unglazed. Please view photos.
