Description: VINTAGE BLUE/WHITE RESERVOIR ENAMEL WASH BASIN/PAN WITH FLORAL DESIGNS FROM SANTA FE Enamelware Dish Pan with beautiful floral design on the inside and a blue/floral scroll design on the outside. It is made of low-carbon steel coated with a porcelain enamel for resistance to corrosion and wear and tear. Due to its age, this wash pan has chips around the edges, underneath and inside. But the design in the middle is mostly intact. Almost no rust, even though chipped. This porcelain dish pan has approx. 10-quart capacity. It has a non-stick surface that makes cleanup quick and easy, if you choose to use it functionally.Or use this basin as a purely decorative item. It is beautiful with the roses and butterflies on the interior and even looks good from the side with the scroll design on the outside of the basin. The designs were baked into the enamel during manufacturing, so they won't wear off. The basin would look great on a kitchen counter or shelf. Or use it in the bathroom for towels, soaps or just decorations. In all the years I have looked at antiques, I have never seen such a great find. And this one came from my aunt's estate in Santa Fe. She had great taste.
