Description: Featured here is a vintage pottery piece from Blackmon Pottery of Seagrove, North Carolina. A famous hub of potters, Seagrove often creates lovely art and this is no exception. The periwinkle blue color has darker speckling and the pot is a classic shape with small handles. Signed LRB and dated 1993. It is in great condition, no chips or cracks. It does have an indented rim. Not sure if initially it may have had a lid. There is also a pinprick spot where the glaze didn't fully cover the pottery. Still, a great piece of pottery we acquired at an auction with a lot of other pottery pieces. See pictures for closer detail. We also have a larger 9” bowl from Blackmon Pottery in the same color in our store. Measures 5.5” wide at rim, just over 3.5” tall. Weighs 1 lb 5 oz prior to packaging.
