Description: Here is a vintage porcelain plate crafted by B & G / Royal Copenhagen celebrating Mother's Day. It would be a beautiful addition to any group of blue collectable. Featuring a glossy blue and white embossed design, this collector plate depicts a brilliant white mother swan gliding on the water with five babies at her side. On the inside bottom rim the annual occasion is noted in subtle embossed letters, "Mors Dag 1976". The plate has a 6 inch diameter with 1 inch high sides. It weighs 7.2 ounces. There are two holes on the back ring foot to thread a hanger for wall mounting. It was produced in Denmark. It would make a lovely gift for a lover of the elegant swan on Mother's Day. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, crazing or scratches. The backstamp in green reads "B&G Copenhagen Porcelain, Made in Denmark, 9376, Mother's Day".
