Description: Up for sale is this vintage oil on board framed painting of Victorian Battleships at War. Probably British War Ships, but not sure. The framed painting measures 46" in length and 20" in height. This is a one-of-a-kind gorgeous painting that will be a great addition to any collection. The painting is signed, but I cannot figure it out. Looks to be framed by the artist. The frame material is old stock wood measuring 1 1/2" thick by 2 1/4" wide. Don't get that very often any more. Shipping will be expensive. The painting itself is done very very well. A lot of attention to detail. Done in a kinda folk art on plywood technique. It is a handmade item and probably dates to (1940-1970). This nautical and historical oil painting is perfect for those who appreciate folk art and naval history. I hope someone can use it.
