Description: Vintage Barbie Doll as Julia -Diahann Carroll. And a rare very hard to find Julia outfit Candlelight Capers .Brand New (old stock) never removed from its box. The box has been smushed but all items inside are pristine and complete.Original doll from 1969 with Twist N Turn body. This doll has tight hips and legs that click in all positions as intended, her arms also hold positions. This Julia is clean and her outfit is complete. You get the doll with white panties, dress , hat, shoes and the complete Candlelight Capers outfit in its original box. Nothing else is included . This 1969 Julia doll uses the 1968 talking Christie head mold with short straight black hair that often oxidizes to shades of red. Like this dolls hair. She wears either a two-piece nurses uniform, a skirt and a jacket along with the black trim white hat and white pilgrim shoes or a one piece dress uniform. The short one piece dress version is much more common. The two-piece uniform is harder to find than the one piece uniform and both include white panties. Julia’s uniform has all its buttons, snaps and it’s little original hat with black stripe ,which usually is not the case with these dolls😊. This doll has some taps/dings on her ankles but they are not bad at all. Her overall condition is very good. And the outfit box has wear but you can always de-box the outfit and dress up Julia in this rare outfit. Wouldn’t that be fun! And She would look so fabulous!
