Description: Original Vintage Architectural / Landscape Painting Australian Home in a Dry Landscape " Hebrews 3:4 - Every house is builded by some man , but he that built all things is God ." Framed, acrylic on canvas board / wooden panel. Original vintage picture frame, about 9" x 10.5" Wire hanger. According to the former owner, it was painted in Australia as a souvenir of the visit of a traveling American friend. Presumably this bungalow , built in the shade of trees, was the guest-house in which the artist's friend stayed. The muted colors convey the sense of the dry Australian landscape. Signed by the artist at the lower-left, " Elma ." Undated, but this appears to be some decades old. ( perhaps there's a further inscription on the back ? I have not taken this painting out of the frame to investigate ) The artist inscribed a Bible verse on the masking-tape on the rear, referencing the building of a house.
