Description: This is a beautiful Italian silver with a Red cabochon brooch, I believe made in the 1950s or 1960s. It is marked "Italy" and "AP" (for Ascoli Piceno). While there are no silver markings, I believe it is 800 silver (lower purity than sterling). It is quite shiny, though there are some stubborn marks on the back. The clasp is a hook made of what appears to be brass. The ornate design and intricate wirework make this brooch a unique addition to any jewelry collection
