Description: This cute cottage cheese jar by Arctic Dairy is in very good, vintage condition. There are no cracks and chips. We strive to accurately depict items in our photographs. Please refer to them to best assess condition. I did a little research on the dairy and found an article from Michigan State University about vintage dairy bottles discovered on campus. Apparently, Arctic was popular in Lansing at one time as they discovered quite a few bottles from the brand and featured a milk bottle photo from Arctic Dairy showing the same logo as this cottage cheese jar! According to the article, as of 2012, the brand still existed, but only produced ice cream. Per the article, the brand's original locations were in Detroit, but they spread as far west as Grand Rapids over time. We found this jar in SE Michigan about an hour's drive from Detroit!
