Description: This is an original antique (early 20th century) Western Stoneware Company zinc glazed stoneware crock with bold blue markings on the front including maple leaf and lily pattern. Condition excellent. There is a cluster of very tight surface cracks on the inside bottom (look like they are just through the surface, not visible on the bottom) and some other scuffs and marks in the bottom from use. There are no other cracks or chips anywhere. The glaze is a little dimpled (from the original glazing process) and there are a couple tiny flea bites on one side, but it displays beautifully and is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The crock measures 13" in diameter x 15" H and will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO box. Advertised shipping cost covers shipping within the lower 48 states only. Please ask for a shipping quote to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico.
