Description: You will be bidding on a wonderful, folk art hand, carved cane, or walking stick. The story that was passed along to me with this cane is that it came out of the historic African-American black town of Boley Oklahoma. It is not too far away from where I am in bristow Oklahoma. It is made from a very rigid piece of twig that has very little gift. It is varnished, mostly with burned, dots all over with painted silver centers. The handle portion is a darker stained part that has a whimsical face painted. A few inches below that is a stained area with what looks to be the initial W circled and additional initials. JLD. It measures 32 and three-quarter inches long. It has a metal tip to the end.
