Cast metal painted in a gold tone with plastic face plate black and gold tone design in center of back. In great condition for age no cracks, splits or repairs. There are age use and storage imperfections that include needs a detailed cleaning and polishing there are spots including rust and dust, scratches and scuffs, plastic window is a bit filmy on outside, inside is appears to be slightly brighter than outside.As stated above there are imperfections.
