Description: Beautiful vintage religious candle holder made by A. Gross & Co. of Baltimore, MD in the 1940's. It was designed for use in churches and features a beautiful, thick cobalt glass candle holder with the original candle inside (removable). This is a heavy piece that stands 15" tall with the lid. The glass piece sits in a footed metal base with an antique brass finish. The base features three Gothic gargoyles and the domed lid has a cross. All pieces fit snugly together and are solid. The lid is stamped 126 WB and the base embossed with "Patent Applied For." There are no chips or cracks to the glass or metal. Truly a wonderful addition to any collection.
