Seems to be from the late 1980s. About the brand: Select was the frame brand of the Viennese bike shop Gartner. They produced classic steel road bike frames in the 60s-80s. In the 80s they also ordered frames from Italian manufacturers (Pinarello, Moser, etc) which were decorated with the Select decals and pantos. This is a frame made in Italy by one of the big manufacturers. The frame is used with some regular signs of use. There are no dents, cracks or repairs but it shows signs of use like smaller scratches and smaller superficial oxidation stains (top tube). Please see pics and judge yourself, I think the frame can be described as good condition, not for a showbike, but still very nice and perfect if you plan to use it. The frame tubing is Columbus Cromor. Please see pics. The chrome is in very good condition. No oxidation. Select pantographed dropouts. Measurements: I measure: approximately 51.3cm tall (center - top of the seattube lug), 50cm (center - center). The top tube measures about 51cm. Rear spacing is 130mm. Bottom bracket shell, 70mm, Italian. As a description is always influenced by a personal opinion I made a couple of supersize pics that help you to judge the frame yourself.
