Description: This vintage 1970s "Holly Hobbie-type rag doll" is in very good pre-owned condition. She was still in the possession of her creator, Betty Bailey, my mother-in-law. I doubt that this cloth body doll was ever played with as she was one of many that Mom made and sold in the late 1970s. No stains or missing parts. Doll is un-signed. Betty continued in her doll making and taught herself to create original porcelain dolls and fashion clothing for them. Betty Bailey Originals became Lincoln Mold Company, Inc. in the early 1990s. Soft and lightweight...all clothing can be removed. Dress is make of a brown calico with small mushrooms and flowers. Yarn hair is less accepting of being combed or styled. Also nice just to sit on a made bed or in a little chair! FAST shipping from Des Moines, Iowa!
