Description: Vintage 50s Nylon Chiffon Party Dress Full Skirt sz XS This beautiful vintage 50s party dress has that fab fit and flare style that we love from that era. The sleeveless bodice has a Grecian quality about it with the fabric gathering at the beaded focal point on the waist. The entire dress is constructed from a base layer of ivory acetate / rayon that is overlaid in a nylon chiffon. The very full skirt has an 11" hem that can be let out if you want the skirt to be midi in length. We love the long "wings" of chiffon that cascade from the shoulders down the dress in back -- such an elegant look (they can also be tied into a fun pussy bow)! This dress fastens in back with a vintage monochromatic metal zipper. *Note: We've photographed this dress with one of our petticoats under the skirt so that you can see its fullness, however the petticoat is not included. This dress looks very good for its age with minimal flaws. It looks like there may be a few beads missing from the midriff, though it isn't glaring and they can easily be replaced. There's also a small hole we found in the chiffon at the bottom of the dress. With all the fabric, it isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it. There are two other partial (they don't go all the way through), very tiny holes that you will never spot unless you know where to look. See photos for a visual description. Overall, you'll be pleased with how it looks. Very wearable as is! Measurements are like a contemporary size extra small.
