Description: VINTAGE 50s CHRISTMAS CARD SNOW SLEIGH HORSE HUMOROUS WRITING BY ENNO TO HENGERS Click images to enlarge Description For sale is a Christmas card with a horse and sleigh on the front, glittery, an artist-type card by Hallmark, signature on the front looks like White. The interesting part is the humorous note written inside: "My dear Hengers: Tried to see you but the snow started melting and the horses got too tired on the dry roads. Besides I lost your correct address & hope this will reach you and the house in finished condition before you leave for Zurs in the Tyrolian Alps. Wishing both of you a very very joyful and..." then the preprinted part of the card says Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. "I am, sincerely, Enno." I can't guarantee I got the names right, but you can look and see what you think. I think this card was written in the 50s because several of the other items it was with were from that period. Love the sense of humor - I'll bet Enno was a lot of fun! The card is in very good used condition.
