Description: Genuine Vintage 1940's Solid 14K Yellow Gold IWC Schaffhausen Wristwatch Retailed by Galt & Bros. Jewelers, Washington D.C. Pre-owned Condition. The IWC cal.60 movement is in good working condition, known for its reliability and accuracy, between 1943-1947 with an estimated total of 12,600 made. The Galt & Bros. dial is an stain silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals. The hands similarly are yellow gold that matches the case well. An elegant 14 carat solid gold snap back case is 30mm wide by 36mm long lug tip to tip. The watch is in overall good condition and comes on a brown leather strap.
