You may want to replace hair with a wig. The cost is around $40 for a new wig and they are easy to glue in once the existing hair is shaved. This doll has lovely skin. No cracks and one mark on left hand - see photo. Eyes do not close but she spends her time standing and easily stands alone. Her shoes are original. Not sure about socks. Her dress is a children's size 3. So much fun to buy outfits for!This doll is reasonably priced because of her hair. She is a good buy if you have always wanted a Patti Playpal but didn't want to spend the usual cost.
