It has one compartment and is made of plastic material.The cookie jar features a tilt lid type and a French Chef character design. It is a perfect addition to any kitchen collection. The item measures 10.5" in height, 7" in width. This cookie jar is an original piece. Item does have some yellowing of white surface as shown in photos(on his right side of hat and shoulder from sun shining on it). I tried to photo discoloration but it didn't show well. Just want you to be aware of it. Preowned and sold as is. Chef does talk and rolling pin does raise up as it is supposed to.
