Description: Vintage 1995 The Magic Bag Theatre Event Flyer The Howling Diablos Ferndale Michigan This musical flyer was used to advertise and promote a Benefit For Gary Grimshaw's Legal Defense held at The Magic Bag Theatre Woodward Ave. North of 9 Mile, Ferndale, Michigan on Saturday February 18, 1995 at 8 PM. The entertainment was "The HOWLING DIABLOS". The benefit featured SPANK - WAK JAWAKA , Master Of Ceremonies Jerry Lubin, BLUE DOG , MICK VRANICH & WORD BAN'D. This Vintage 1995 The Magic Bag Theatre Event Flyer The Howling Diablos Ferndale Michigan was preowned. It is clean and in good condition. No writing on the flyer other than the designated advertising print. No rips or tears on the colorful flyer. The flyer was stored in a plastic sleeve, which is also included. Made on a white piece of poster board, a sky blue background trimmed in white the flyer measures 9" long x 4 1/4" wide. On the front of the flyer near the top in a 4" long x 1/4" black colored area in bold yellow print is "HOWLING FOR ART'S SAKE!" Below this at the top of the sky blue background in black print is "A BENEFIT FOR GARY GRIMSHAW'S LEGAL DEFENSE". Then "The (BLACK PRINT) HOWLING DIABLOS ( ORANGE PRINT)." An illustration of a female vampire angel wearing a long dark purple dress , long black hair with a bright yellow halo shining behind her, as well as yellow flames coming from a torch she is holding in one hand. There's also yellow flames behind her legs and feet. Balancing on each end of her white angel wings are scales holding a fish. To the left of the vampire angel, below the scale is an illustrated dog with the word "SPANK" (in pink print) highlighted in yellow. Underneath this is (black print) ''WAKA JAWAKA", "MASTER OF CEREMONIES JERRY LUBIN". To the right of the vampire angel, below the scale (in pink print) are the words "BLUE DOG". Underneath this (black print) is 'MICK VRANICH & WORD BAN'D". Standing near her feet are vampire dogs and vampire cats. Below this illustrated picture in an 4" long x 1/4" black colored area in white print id the following: SATURDAY FEB 18, 1995 - 8 PM. Underneath this in a 4" long x 1" yellow shaded area in black print we have the following information; a line of foreign symbols then THE MAGIC BAG THEATRE WOODWARD AVE, NORTH OF 9 MILE, FERNDALE MI * INFO (PHONE#) . In a pink shaded 4" long x 1/4" wide area is printed the following information: TICKETS: $7. advance $8, at the door, available at OFF THE RECORD (Royal Oak), SPROCKETS (Wyandotte) and MUSIC MUSIC (Garden City).
