Vintage 1990 Carole Little Sheath Dress Sz 6 Bottom Flounce Modern Art Graphics

Description: Very unusual vintage Carole Little dress! I purchased 1990 or 1991, put it in a garment bag in my closet and there it has been for the past almost 35 years!!! YIKES!! I'm calling this a sheath dress, but I don't think it's meant to be a real tight form fitting dress. I think it's supposed to be a little loose and have movement to make the most of the 9" flounce or ruffle at the bottom. There is a hidden side seam zipper to help get into and out of dress. And there are thin inner shoulder pads which was the style back then. There are long vertical darts (2 in front and 2 in back) to give the dress a bit of shape and not just a loose chemise style. Oh, and I have a purple amethyst Coldwater Creek necklace listed that would be so perfect with this dress. It is a long necklace lending to a 1920's flapper style feel about the dress. Approximate measurements:Total length from back of neckline to hem - 35"Sleeve length from shoulder to hem - 21 1/2"Shoulder seam to shoulder seam - 15"Underarm to underarm - 18" (so about 36" bust)Waist side seam to side seam - 16 1/2" (so about 33" waist)Hip side seam to side seam - 18" (so about 36" hips) Important note: I do not accept returns.
