Vintage 1987 OMI Dobro Square Neck Model 60DN-S Maple Resonator Guitar&Hard Case

Description: From The originators of the Dobro resonator guitar comes this 1987 vintage Model 60 in a Natural finish Maple body. The distinctive sound of Dobro guitars has been a important ingredient of Bluegrass and Country music from their inception. Many players from Josh Graves to Mike Aldridge and Jerry Douglas have added the unique sound of the resonator guitar to multiple music styles past and present. This guitar is in fine condition and shows few signs of ever having much playing time. There is a mark on each side of the headstock. These might've been from a strap being attached there or from a guitar stand or hanger. I think these would be fairly simple to repair if it was one's desire. Additionally, there is a spot on the face bass side upper bout that might have once sported a decal or sticker. Some touchup may have been attempted and the surface is somewhat uneven. It could probably be wet sanded flat and then polished for a better look. Beyond the previous items I'm seeing few scratches and no dings, dents or damage. A very nice condition hardshell case is included in this listing. Due to the fit, I believe it is original to this Dobro. Additionally, I have included an old O,M,I. catalog from my collection that shows their many products. This catalog might have predated the 1987 date of this particular Dobro, so the prices and offerings might not be the same in 1987 when this Dobro was built.
