Description: 1985Japanese Traditional StyleKimono Barbieby Takara This doll was one of two made specifically for the 1985 Barbie Convention which was held in Romulus, Michigan. Mattel provided the Japanese Barbie with the Kira head mold and the hosting Barbie club provided the Takara Kimono Barbie which features the Takara Jenny head mold. There were a few variants of the Kimono doll, this particular one being the peach floral kimono with the gold accents. This doll is new and has never been removed from the box. The box shows minor wear, if any. Please see all pictures, as they are part of the description. All dolls/boxes are lightly cleaned and thoroughly inspected prior to photographing. I do document any damage or imperfections I come across. All dolls are sold "as is" and, while I do accept returns, I cannot refund if an item is returned altered in any way.
