Description: For your consideration a very unusual set of 1980s vintage road time trial bars from the fine craftspeople at Nitto of Japan. This bar has a very unusual bend, almost like upside down road drops. It's not at all like the typical TT bar from Nitto. The bar is drilled for internal cable routing, but one could just as well use it on a vintage track bike. The bar is stamped as 40cm width, which is a center to center measurement. Clamp is 26.0mm. I have listed this bar as used because of marks that indicate its been mounted, but really the condition is phenomenal. I was tempted to list it as new, with shop wear. It has a few nicks which I have photographed and the Nitto decal is wrinkled. The bar has that translucent anodizing that Nitto is famous for and it will absolutely look great on your vintage restoration project.
