This lamp has been newly rewired with a 3-way socket and cord with a polarized plug. This lamp is a great example of 1980's art deco, using art deco elements and 1980's materials. The lamp has two thick clear lucite discs as the base and another on top of the vase shape, with two 9" tall birds (brass or brass plated) on the sides. The vase is made out of metal, which looks black, but it's actually a very dark blue. The lamp comes with it's original 2 5/8" tall lucite finial, which has a big fracture in it. The lamp overall looks great for a used lamp, with minor signs of age.
