Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a rugged "general purpose" dynamic microphone made by Shure Brothers during the 1960's - 1970's though this is a 1977 model. The 575 SB with a "like new" working dynamic element, clip, box and lavalier necklace. This is a great for broadcasting & recording purposes with it's Low Z setting and omni-directional pattern. Pic # 2 is from a catalog I have showing all of the mics performance characteristics. It was a very affordable microphone if you didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on some of the more sophisticated cardioid dynamic mics of that time. The 575S came in high impedance and makes a great harp mic with it's dirty, muddy sound while the 575SB has a slightly warmer tone with a little more bass. The black plastic finish is very good condition with typical scuff marks. The front grill and Shure label look very nice. Grill is free of any tarnish, odors or dents. The on / off switch works perfect with zero issues. Mic is solid with zero issues an comes with a short 7 foot original attached cable. The cable itself is soft, pliable and has a Switchcraft 1/4 inch end connector. The box is included with original foam padding as well as the lavalier necklace and mic clip that will screw on to any American mic stand. Plug in and play! Very lite weight and easy to hold. The mic measures 4 1/2 inches long X 1 inch across. The price is very reasonable for a mic of this condition with all original accessories included.
