Description: Vintage 1971 DODECAHEDRON (12 SIDED) Desk Calendar / Paperweight Rattle In good overall condition for it's age! See all pics! Has wear in the form of rubs, swirl marks, and light scratches from age, use, and storage. This is more noticeable on the black panels than it is on the cream colored ones. See all pics. This type of wear is pretty much unavoidable with glossy plastics as the years go by. The top 6 sides (the cream colored panels) show the calendars for January - May 1971 in black print and the very top panel shows the year's holidays in red print. Notice that President's Day is still titled Washington's Birthday. This change didn't happen until the later 1980s. The bottom 6 sides (the black colored panels) show the calendars for June - December in gold print. The bottom panel show both June and July's calendars in gold print. I call this the bottom because it has the Made in Hong Kong mark on it and it seems to be the side that was used the most as that panel has more wear on it. Calendar measures just over 2.5" tall (see last pic). The calendar also has some weighted material inside that both give it a little heft (not much, though) and can act as a rattle since the material is all loose inside.
