Description: Elegance and finery are represented in these dainty silver filigree earrings... I have an eye for quality, so when I spied these sweet little jewels in a thrift shop, I had to rescue them! I'm still not sure quite when they are from, so my best guess is that they were made in the 1970's (possibly), utilizing -or upcycling as we say nowadays- older, possibly Victorian or Edwardian sterling silver filigree pieces. However, it should be noted that both the French hooks are marked '925', along with the actual filigree pieces themselves. The filigree pieces were hand-worked and pierced, to create the interesting design. Up close, one can see the unique form or shape that the filigree pieces create -bulbous at the interior teardrop shapes present. No maker's marks present. The overall condition is excellent, with some obvious patina (I do not clean the jewelry, as I do with all my other items -I leave this to the discretion of the buyer). Please review photographs for full details. Measurements: - 1.75 inch total length- 1 inch filigree piece length- just under 7/8 inch filigree piece width Feel free to contact me with any questions or inquiries! ♥,Miss Master *Proud member of the Vintage Fashion Guild*
