Description: This is a circa 1970's Master of Sports Badge/Pin of the USSR/CCCP. A superb Soviet Russian heavy metal vintage badge given to me by my friend who was a Judo champion from Latvia. In vintage condition and comes with functioning metal spin clamp that screws into the back pin/screw. There is a number that is engraved on the back bottom of the bade: 239066. There is also an engraved symbol at the top of the back of the badge that I cannot make out even with the magnifying glass. I have taken a picture of both that you can see for yourself. I'm not sure what the number represents, perhaps it was my friend's assigned competitor number in his Judo division. The front of the badge shows "CCCP" at the top with a bundle of wheat below bound by two red cords and a red star in the middle of it. There is the Russian description of "MACTEP CNOPTA" which is "Master of Sports". In this particular case it was awarded to my Latvian friend who was a Judo champion among his fellow sportsmen. There is a striped red border around the "Master of Sports" title. See photos for condition and if you have any questions I will gladly answer if you message me. Comes bubble wrapped and shipped in an envelope via USPS First Class mail with tracking.
