Description: This is a vintage, 1970's hand carved teak wood hippopotamus, carved in Kenya. I acquired it from the people who traveled there and purchased it. It is 7 1/2" long and 3 1/2" wide at stomach area. When facing it the left ear appears to have some wood missing on the edge, possibly could be sanded and rounded off. It has some other light marks on it probably from sitting in their home so long. Please review the pictures to see the item condition and the marks and email your questions. It is a neat piece.
