Description: This is a vintage 1970 Illinois motorcycle license plate 67505 paired with a 1970 Chicago Motorcycle tax tag 9164. The yellow with red printing license plate, which is the same color as the 1970 Illinois automotive plates, shows the expected wear from being mounted on a motorcyle. There is a short tear (1/2") on the left side of the plate from a crease in the metal (picture 3) The metal circular Chicago tax tag not only includes the year -1970 and tag number - 9164 also Mayor Richard J Daley and City Clerk John C Marcin names stamped into the tag. The pairing of the license and tax tag adds another level of history and authenticity. The license plate dimensions are 8 3/4" X 4 1/8" and the tag is 4" in diameter.
