A pair of vintage Action Man short black boots round out the set. You can’t have your lad jumping barefoot, can you? Red jumpsuit is clean and brightly colored with absolutely minimal play wear. No holes, tears or fading noted. Zipper is in perfect working order. Foot straps, waist and wrist elastic are all present with weakened elasticity. Early issue Green goggles with white trim are clean and intact with age related stress lines and very light play wear. Vintage elastic strap is intact with weakened elasticity. Crash Helmet has clean, bright red lettering and black trim with minimal paint rubs. Interior foam pad is nice and soft and firmly attached. Surface of helmet is clean with no cracks or melt marks noted. Aftermarket chin strap is the main note. Action man short black boots are clean and intact with minimal play wear. Mid issue red, white and blue nylon parachute is clean and brightly colored. Parachute shroud lines are all present and securely attached. No holes, stains or split seams noted. A few small, faint marks/stains are hard to see but noted anyway. Clam shell Chute pack includes the original pull cord and ring, and canvas harness straps. Sadly, the pack lid hinge is detached, a common issue with this earlier design. (Palitoy switched to barn door style lid shortly after). While most folk secure the detached lid with a rubber band, We decided to use black tape on the inside seam, so that the pack displays nicely. Reserve chute bag is clean with all components present and in good working order. Red Devil Instruction Sheet is clean and intact with creases and very light play wear. A slight seam separation on the center crease line is the main note. All photos are of the actual Red Devil set offered in this listing. Our resident Action Man mannequin is wearing the 1:6 scale outfit so you can get a better idea of its size. Sorry, our mannequin and that little rock in the photo are not for sale.
