Vintage 1960's Widmer Wine bottle labels

Description: In the fall of 1961 the parents of a friend of mine decided to decorate their basement rec room with the labels from beer, wine, whiskey and other alcoholic beverage bottles. The task of removing all those labels from the bottles proved to be a bit much, so they sent letters to as many breweries and wineries as they could requesting unused labels. The response was awesome, as they received thousands of labels from many different companies. They decoupaged the labels to the ceiling beams, as well as the basement pillars. The extra labels were put back in the envelope along with the letter received from the brewery and put in a box for safe keeping. They have since passed away, and I purchased the remaining labels from their son. I will be listing hundreds of them in the near future, so keep an eye on my store.
