Description: VINTAGE 1960'S-70'S HUDSON BAY 100% WOOL TRADE BLANKET COAT/JACKET. a classic striped point blanket style, made famous by the offerings of the Hudsons Bay company. The HBC version had four stripes, of indigo, yellow, red and green. This version has broader stripes, of black, red and yellow. These coats were very expensive new, with their high quality blanket material, and were generally offered by the higher end outdoors outfitters of the time. 100% pure wool shell, 100% high-pile soft to the touch acrylic lined body, with quilted nylon/polyester sleeve lining so you can slide it on and off with ease. This vintage coat is in pristine condition.
