This neck has it's original finish, original decal (missing the "M" only), original string tree, original frets, original decal, original nut and a STUNNING Slab Brazilian RW board. With late 50's Slab-Board Jazzmasters now pushing $20k, the secret is out at how amazing and significant these instruments truly are. It also puts them out of reach for most players - we're very happy to offer this 1959 neck - the body (dated 11/59) and many of the other parts (pots dated to the 37th week of 1959) can be found in our listings in the coming days and weeks - this is a stunning two piece body with a great weight and killer vibe. This amazing neck is fully factory original with no modifications. The finish is original throughout with no overspray. The finish on the back of the neck has worn down to the PERFECT feel. The decal is fully original (missing the "M" in Jazzmaster). The original frets are very worn, and will need replacement - but this is GOOD news as the fretboard has never been sanded or altered in any way. This neck, like most mid/late 1959 and 1960 Fender necks, does NOT have a pencil date. The truss rod works perfectly and the neck is dead straight.
