Description: This is a vintage 4’ tapestry table runner that was found stored along with many mementos from Korean war time though not sure of its age or where it was made.. I tried google translate on the wording I could not come up with anything definitive however It may say “God Bless You”. If anyone knows what it says please send a message :) The runner features a beautiful overall floral and swirl detailed edging and tulip center with camel and palm trees on each side. The colors are a golden sand, navy, brown, light tan and green. The fringe is multicolored as well and is missing a small portion on one end. The flash is causing the overall color to look a little lighter , it is much more muted and golden. Runner measured approx 4’ and the fringe adds 3” on each end Please ask any questions as I am not an expert in vintage textiles :) I have photographed this as found and have not tried to clean this up in any way. I can see some dirt/staining near camels and have tried to photo above the flash is highlighting the areas as they are not as noticeable in natural lighting! just wanted to show in detail. There may be other areas as well however there are no rips or tears that I can find other than the missing fringe on the one area :) Thanks for looking and check out our other auction items for more wartime keepsakes.
