There are no smoke, no mold, and no pet odors, but there is a light 'factory' smell, because it was sealed in a preserved bag since 1953. There is wear, including a few spots, some loose threads, a few snags in the fabric, and yellowing/discoloration. The Veil cap, has some bends and discoloration.
